Smoking Cost
Perhaps the preceding two articles were not enough to woo some of the more veteran-smoker readers. Maybe the unhealthiness and potential cancer is not a high priority for you. Also, maybe both you and your significant other are smokers- so who cares who finds you attractive! In that case, there is one issue with regular cigarettes that nobody can deny. They are expensive. One would be hard-pressed to find a single person who does not like a few extra dollars in their pockets.
For those skeptical that the 99$ smokeless cigarettes are more expensive, hear me out. The 99$ is a one-time price, and many long-time smokers will buy cartons to save their money. Well, this isn’t much different. Say you buy 3-5 packs of regular cigarettes over a month or so. Already, the person who bought a smokeless cigarette has saved about $30 for their purchase! And after that initial month that you could have wasted tons on throw-away cigarettes, the smokeless cigarette continues to thrive in low price. The replacement cartridges for the smokeless cigarettes typically cost only about $3 per pack. This is phenomenal, since that is less than HALF the price of a regular pack of cigarettes. For those pack-a-day smokers out there, you spend up to $1000 more a year than your smokeless cigarette counterparts!
So, that inexpensive little microprocessor-controlled device is actually a huge money saver. The above were just the obvious prices. I haven’t even gone into the price of lighters, lighter fluid, ash trays, and cost of rewashing your clothes when you decide you don’t want to smell entirely like smoke.. In any case, the smokeless cigarette speaks for itself in terms of saving money.
With the taxes rising on cigarettes and the economy costing you bundles, the smokeless cigarette is the smart way to go. During smoke breaks, you won’t even have to walk outside or leave the bar to enjoy your habit. Sitting there and smoking the cigarette lets you sit there and smoke, while everyone else is forced to stand in the cold in order to get their fix. They’re stomping on butt after butt, going through 3-4 cigarettes if they chain smoke, and you’ll be just keeping the one nearby, not needing to clog up filled ashtrays with the cigarettes you’ve smoked.
So, while you shell out your hard-earned money for pack after pack of cigarettes (or carton, if you are frugal), just think of the money you could be saving with every pack you buy. Smokeless cigarettes are the best option, no matter how you look at it.
